There will be a set of folders in your Cloud Storage provider (OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, or Egnyte) that are integrated with FloQast.
You will not need access to these folders to sign into the FloQast application. However, you will need access to these folders since you will use them to collaborate on Excel workbooks as you perform your reconciliations. Your Accounting/Finance team or IT team will share the appropriate folders with you. You may receive access to the entire FloQast folder structure or may receive access to the applicable FQ - Entity Name folder(s).
Once you are invited to these folders, you may view them from the web version of your Cloud Storage provider by signing into your Cloud Storage account. A few examples are shown below from Box and OneDrive:
While these files are visible from the web, we strongly recommend utilizing the Desktop Sync App provided by your Cloud Storage provider. Each provider has an app that will sync the selected folders to your desktop. This allows you to access the folders from the familiar UI of your File Explorer, and to open Excel files in the native, desktop version of Excel with all functions and formulas supported.
