What are Ready for Review Notifications?
An email notification to let users know when a Checklist or Reconciliation item has been prepared and is now ready for them to review.
How to turn on Ready for Review notifications:
- Hover over your user icon (bottom left corner) and then click the Profile Settings button. In the Profile Settings page click the Notifications tab.
- In the Workflow section of these notifications you will see the option to opt-in or opt-out of the Ready for Review notifications. You can choose to opt-in or out of notifications via Email, Slack or Teams assuming you've set up the Slack/Teams integration with FloQast. You can also select whether you would like the notification to be sent immediately as an item becomes Ready for Review or if you would like the notifications to be sent out regularly every few hours.
- If you decide to opt-in, you will only receive a Ready for Review email notification if you are a reviewer AND a checklist and/or reconciliation item has been prepared for you.
What will the Email look like?
See More takes you to the checklist or reconciliation page with Ready for Review and Assigned to me filters automatically selected. If the reviewer has items ready for review from a single Entity, the link will take you to that Entity. If the items in the email span across multiple entities, then you will be taken to the All Entities view.
FAQ
When exactly are the Ready for Review emails getting sent out if Batched Notifications is selected?
Currently set for 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, and 6pm at the Entity's local time.
If an item has multiple preparers, and not all of them have signed off on an item, will the Ready for Review email get triggered?
No - all preparers must sign-off on an item for the Ready for Review email to be sent out.
What happens if a preparer signs off on an item that belongs to a previous period?
Ready for Review email notifications are only sent out for current periods.
What happens when an item is prepared, and you have multiple reviewers associated with this item?
By default, the Ready for Review notification will go out to all Reviewers as soon as the last Preparer signs off on the item. However, FloQast does offer an option to have the notification go out sequentially, so the second Reviewer on an item will not be notified until the first Reviewer signs off. If you would like to have this sequential logic for the notification enabled for you, please reach out to your Account Success Manager or Support@floqast.com.
