Your Chart of Accounts is automatically imported from NetSuite to FloQast. All active NetSuite accounts should appear as options in the Add Account list.
However, let's say you just added a brand new account to NetSuite and now you want to add it to FloQast. The new account may not appear. Luckily there is a simple solution that will ensure FloQast is synced with all the latest updates in NetSuite.
The "Sync General Ledger" button can be found on the Manage Entities tab. You'll need to click manage next to one of your entities and scroll down until you see the Integration Settings section.
Pressing this button will ping NetSuite for all of the latest accounts and subsidiaries. You can press the button from any entity in FloQast, and it will sync across all entities. There is no need to press it more than once.
After Syncing your GL, you can go back to Manage Reconciliations and try adding the account again. It should appear as an option in the drop-down menu now!
The Sync GL button can also be used if you have added a new subsidiary and notice that balances from the new subsidiary aren't pulling into FloQast. Just sync your GL, Refresh your reconciliations, and the new entries should be picked up now.
