Transform
Document and Evidence Your Review of a Transform Workflow
Review Procedures brings review documentation into FloQast Transform. On a workflow's review step, builders attach an ordered list of up to ten review items. Each item is either a checkbox or a request for supporting evidence, with its own label and an optional description.
Reviewers work through the list right beside the file preview. Items that call for evidence require an attachment before they can be cleared. Comments can be left on any item, and progress persists if you step away. Approval remains unavailable until all items are complete. FloQast Transform automates the workflow, with your team reviewing each output before it's applied.
When the workflow completes, FloQast generates a Review Comments file that can be downloaded as an Excel file alongside your workflow output(s). It lists each item along with the reviewer, the timestamp, and any comments.
With Review Procedures, we've also updated the file preview so your entire review can happen in-app. The preview now renders as a full grid: sort, filter, search, and pin columns, with your Excel formatting carried through. Enterprise plans add column totals, row counts, and aggregation across a selected range.

Build Matching Rules From Scratch
Matching rule creation no longer has to start from an example match. You can now build a rule from an empty state, defining match conditions, tolerances, and scope directly, for accounts where your reconciliation logic doesn't resemble a standard pattern.
The FloQast Rules library and AI-suggested rules using example matches remain available and unchanged for accounts where those are the faster path.

Automate Journal Entry Creation from Matching Results
AI Transaction Matching customers can now define JE Rules that generate journal entries automatically from unmatched transactions, extending automation past the match itself and into the entry that clears it. Rules specify the conditions that trigger an entry and the fields the entry is populated with, so recurring transactions no longer require manual entry each period.
Generated entries flow into Journal Entry Management for standard review and posting, keeping approval and audit trail intact.

Multi-Period Rollforward for Amortization & Depreciation
Roll forward schedules across multiple periods in a single click, rather than requiring you to roll forward each period separately to get your schedule current. You can also bulk reset the multi-period rollforward as needed.
This update helps support your quarterly and annual reconciliations by making the process more efficient.

Export Year-to-Date Rollforward Schedules
You can now export a year-to-date rollforward directly from Amortization and Depreciation, producing a single schedule covering all periods in the fiscal year to date. This replaces exporting each month individually and reassembling the schedule in Excel for auditors or internal reporting.
The export preserves the same columns and item detail shown in-app.

Annotate Excel Files
You can now upload and annotate excel file types directly on the Annotations page. As with other file types (.pdf, .jpg, .jpeg, .jfif, .pjpeg, .pjp, and .png), users can add boxes, reference attributes, link pages, and sync the test sheet results with the annotations and it all can be performed within the FloQast application.
Manage Assignee Flexibility
Controls assignees can now be updated on a per-month precision. With this update, users can make temporary reassignments scoped to specific months within the current fiscal year, ideal for covering absences or short-term coverage needs without affecting permanent assignments or future year roll-forwards.
The Manage Assignees slideout now surfaces a "Temporary Reassign" option on recurring assignees, displays temporary assignees as distinct rows, and shows a "Modified" label with a tooltip detailing effective periods for any assignee whose default schedule has been overridden.
Reporting
Sign Off From the Report Grid
Preparer and Reviewer sign-off fields are now available right on your variance report in Report Builder, so you can review the numbers and record your sign-off without leaving the report.
When an item has several assignees, the grid stays readable: your own row sorts to the top, and a "+N Assignees" link expands the rest. Toggle your own sign-off inline as you work. Variances in a finalized period open read-only.

More of Your Report on Screen
Report Builder's grid now opens in a Compact preset. A smaller report title, tighter spacing, and a slimmer collapsed sidebar mean more of your report fits on screen. Compact and Expanded are both available as presets, so you can switch layouts whenever you prefer.
A few more refinements keep your reports readable:
- Column filters now live in an icon on each column header rather than occupying a row of their own, and "Enable filter row in table header" restores the previous layout if your team prefers it.
- "Enable stacked headers", off by default, collapses stacked historical-period headers and removes repeated period text.
- Variance comparison columns now carry a combined header naming both periods, such as "Nov '24 v May '25". The standalone Comparison Period column is hidden when a report is pivoted by comparison period, and Preparer and Reviewer columns pick up the comparison period header in that view as well.
- Under Grouping Columns, the layout options are labeled "Single Column" and "Multiple Columns".
Compare Multiple Periods Side by Side in One Report
Report Builder now pivots by comparison period, putting current and comparative values side by side in a single report rather than aggregating them into one combined result. Each comparison keeps its own variance fields, and the report preserves the period-over-period structure you designed.
Variance rows also carry through even when there's no underlying balance behind them, so an account you open from AI Variance Analysis still appears in the report you land on.
Manage Your Roll-Up Hierarchy In-App
See and reshape your full roll-up hierarchy as a tree. The new Hierarchy view sits alongside the existing Table and Rules views, and a Views menu controls which of the three are visible. Search filters the tree, including accounts when they're shown, and expands as needed to reveal matches.
Restructuring happens right in the tree:
- Drag and drop to reorder, rename inline, and add or delete roll-ups. Deleting a roll-up cascades to its children and unassigns the rules that depended on it.
- Turn on Show Accounts to nest mapped accounts beneath each roll-up. A green badge marks an account mapped directly, and a blue badge marks one mapped by rule.
- Select accounts with checkboxes to assign or clear their mapping in bulk.
Your changes flow through the same Save as Draft and Save and Publish steps you use today, and destination lists elsewhere reflect them as you work. Download, Upload, and Level Management remain available from the menu for bulk hierarchy changes.
