Close Automation
AI Matching: Rule Library
You can now create AI Matching rules once and apply them across multiple accounts using the new Rule Library. Admins, Managers, and Advanced Users can manage rules in bulk from a global library page or at the account level, reuse rules across entities, and view version history to track changes and edits. This eliminates the need to manually recreate similar rules for each account, reducing setup time and accelerating AI Matching implementation.
AI Matching: Journal Entry Posting
We’ve updated AI Matching to enable direct journal entry posting to your ERP, allowing you to resolve discrepancies without leaving FloQast. This feature pre-fills adjusting entries based on your matched transactions, maintaining automation continuity and ensuring a clear audit trail between reconciliations and ERP postings. By removing the need for manual data entry or external spreadsheets, you can close your books faster with higher accuracy.
This functionality is available to users who automate GL transactions through NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks Online integrations. Please note that an administrator or manager must complete the initial JE Posting setup to enable these workflows for your team.
Note: Direct posting is only supported for automated GL connections and is not available for transactions managed via manual file uploads.
Amortization and Depreciation: Enhanced Journal Entry Posting
Journal Entry Posting for Amortization and Depreciation now supports a seamless workflow for monthly expenses, transfers, disposals, and restorations across NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and QuickBooks Online. You can map specific fields from your schedules directly to your journal entries, enabling more complete and accurate posting to your ERP. This update also allows you to review and edit entries within FloQast before posting, ensuring that dimensions such as department or location are properly captured without manual data entry.
This functionality is available to all users excluding System Admins, Ops, and Auditors who utilize automated GL integrations. Initial integration configuration is required to enable successful posting back to your ERP. Reach out to your FloQast contact for more details!
Improved Disposal and Restore Workflows
FloQast now provides enhanced support for fixed asset disposals and restores with automatic journal entry generation in your Export. When you dispose of fixed assets, FloQast calculates the gain or loss based on the asset’s cost and accumulated depreciation, and creates the corresponding journal entry in the Export, including sales proceeds (if any). Disposed assets are also updated in the Disposals tab with Net Book Value (NBV) for clearer reporting. Additionally, if you restore a disposal, FloQast generates the corresponding journal entry to maintain a complete audit trail.
Journal Entry Management: ERP Embedded Links
You can now access FloQast journal entries and supporting documentation directly from within NetSuite and Sage Intacct, eliminating the need to switch between systems during reviews or audits.
Once configured, embedded links will automatically surface in NetSuite or Sage Intacct, giving you instant visibility into related FloQast data right from your system of record. Setup requires a one-time manual configuration to map the corresponding FloQast fields in your ERP.

AI Variance: Focus Mode
Focus Mode provides a full-screen, distraction-free workspace within AI Variance for drafting and reviewing account explanations. This update allows you to expand the standard side panel into a larger environment, giving you more space to analyze transaction details, view account trends, and manage review notes simultaneously. By moving beyond a constrained side panel, you can cross-reference the supporting data needed for high-quality explanations without losing your current context.
Within this expanded workspace, you can trigger and iterate on AI-generated drafts while keeping the transactions drawer fully visible for easier referencing. For those who prefer the standard layout, an expansion pane option is also available to increase the side panel width without entering full-screen mode.
Financial Data Management: Saved Views and Table Improvements
Saved Views are now available in Financial Data Management (FDM), allowing you to capture and recall preferred grid configurations like filters, column arrangements, and sorting. This update eliminates the need to manually re-apply settings each session, providing a consistent experience with other FloQast modules. You can create, rename, and switch between multiple personal views with a single click to streamline recurring data analyses.
We have also improved table readability by removing unnecessary columns and introducing grouped column headers. These layout changes help you scan and interpret financial data more quickly without visual clutter. All FDM users can now manage their own saved views to customize their workspace according to their specific reporting needs.
Report Builder and Variance: Reporting Currency Fields
Reporting Currency values are now available in three distinct formats within Report Builder and Variance, allowing you to analyze translated amounts alongside Functional Currency. You can now add Default, Statement-Aware, and Natural Balance reporting columns to a single report to validate translation accuracy or prepare presentation-ready decks without manual formatting. This update ensures that multinational organizations can compare consolidated data and functional amounts in parallel using consistent exchange rates.
These new selectable fields mirror the logic of your Functional Currency columns while applying your organization’s configured period rates. Whether you need to view debits as positive for reconciliations or toggle to statement-aware logic for executive reviews, these options are available as opt-in columns in the report configuration menu.
