Overview
The Activity Log is a centralized audit trail that allows users to monitor changes made within AI Matching. This log provides a detailed record of both user and system-driven actions, ensuring full visibility and auditability throughout the reconciliation process. This feature is designed to increase trust in automated processes and provide the transparency that accounting teams require for compliance and internal controls.
Key Features
Granular Tracking: View specific actions for each transaction, including adding, editing, deleting, restoring, matching, and unmatching
Matching Insights: Track how transactions were matched—whether manually by a user, automatically via a matching rule, or through a Journal Entry (JE).
System Activity: Monitor system-level events such as rolling transactions forward into new periods.
Accessibility: All activity data is easily accessible via a dedicated drawer within the matching UI, allowing for quick reviews without leaving your workflow.
Benefits
Increased Visibility: Gain a clear picture of team member contributions and system-automated tasks, fostering better collaboration and accountability.
Enhanced Audit Readiness: Accountants can rely on a permanent record of all transactional changes, simplifying the audit process and ensuring data integrity.
Trust in AI: By making the "how" and "why" behind automated matches visible, users can adopt AI-driven automation with greater confidence.
