In the Issues tab of the Compliance Management tool, you have the option to Export and Import your list of Issues. This article will discuss how to successfully complete both of these tasks.
Issues - Import
To either make changes to existing Issues or to create additional Issues, you'll need to click the Import button. To import an Issues file, you first need to download the template which is the first screen that shows after clicking the Import button. Select the program or project from the dropdown list and then click the Download Issues button to download the .XLSX file containing all the Issues in that program or project. Within this file, you can make changes to existing Issues and/or create more. Any edits made to issues that have been fully signed off by all owners and testers will not be applied.
- Note: You must use this import file/template in order to successfully import the Issues file. The Issues Export file is not to be used for this purpose and, if uploaded, will result in an error. One key difference between these two files is that the Import file only has one sheet (Issues) and the Export file has 3 (Issues Report, Actions Items, Review Notes).
Once the file has been edited as needed, navigate back into FloQast and click the Next button to be brought to the Import Issues screen. Select your edited file and click Next to be brought to a screen where you will confirm your changes by seeing the number of new, updated or deleted issues. Click Complete Import to finalize this process.
Issues - Export
To export an Excel file with a list of all your existing Issues, click the Export button. This will download an Excel file that contains 3 sheets: Issues Report, Actions Items, and Review Notes. Each sheet will include information such as the Program, Process, Phase, Issue Title and many more details.
- Note: The Export file will not be used to make changes to existing issues or create new ones. This file is simply for your records and a way to see and share all Control Issues that are listed in FloQast.
