Using the FloQast Microsoft Teams Integration

Receiving Notifications

Once the Teams app is connected to your FloQast account, the option to manually configure Teams Notifications becomes available in your Notifications Settings located on your Profile Settings page.

The following notifications are currently available for Microsoft Teams:

Core App Messages

  1. Daily/Weekly Close Progress
  2. Review Notes
  3. Reconciliations Out of Balance
  4. Late Messages
  5. Ready for Review
  6. Followed Items
  7. Sign-off Reminder

Variance Analysis Messages

  1. Newly-Material Fluctuations
  2. Material Fluctuation Changes
  3. Variance Analysis Item Ready For Review
  4. Variance Analysis Report Ready For Review
  5. Variance Analysis Items Due Soon
  6. Late Variance Analysis Items

Review Notes

FloQast Review Notes are fully integrated with Teams. When a Review Note is created, the note's assignee will receive a Teams message including the context and content of the new note. Then, the assignee can respond to the note directly in Teams and change the note's status, and those updates will flow directly to FloQast! A full record of the Review Note is maintained in FloQast, whether the updates were made in-app or via Teams. 

Commands

The FloQast Bot understands three simple commands that will display your assigned FloQast items that are either due today, due tomorrow, or even past due for any workflow across the last, current, and next periods.

After using the Today, Tomorrow, or Late commands, FloQast will send a list of any items that meet the query. From that list, users can click to view the items directly in FloQast, and can even sign off on Checklist items with one click in Teams. Those Sign-Offs will be sent to FloQast and recorded in-app, exactly the same as any other Sign-Off.
