FloQast is excited to announce our new ReMind Integration with Slack. This will allow you to send your ReMind Requests via Slack to team members within your workspace. Currently, the feature is still in development and beta testing. If you would like to opt in, please click on the banner at the top of the ReMind home page!
If you do choose to opt-in, we are excited to hear your feedback as we continue to develop the integration!
The first thing you will need to do when opting into the beta is to integrate your Slack with FloQast. The ReMind integration uses the same app as the existing FloQast integration. If you have not downloaded this app, please follow the steps here to install the app.
You will then need to reauthorize the app for different score access to allow ReMind to retrieve users' Slack handles to send them notifications directly.
At this time, Slack and Email ReMind Campaigns will need to be distinct, separate requests, and Slack can only be used with contacts in your workspace. When creating a new Request, you will be able to toggle between Slack and Email.
To be able to add your Slack contacts to a request, you will first need to add them as Contacts in ReMind.
Then, run a resync of those contacts within ReMind. On the ReMind Dashboard, hover over the "Send Reminders via Slack" banner and select Re-sync your Contacts:
Enable the Send via Slack option in your request, then click into the "To" line to type in the names of your Slack contacts and add them to the request.
For a Slack campaign, your recipients will receive their messages directly in Slack. Your recipients do not need to have set up the FloQast Slack app themselves in order to receive messages!
After receiving a message, a user can either click the Reply button, which will open their email and allow them to respond to the request. They can also include attachments with their responses.
