Possible Causes and Solutions
A) “Refresh” button has not been clicked above Reconciliations/Documents sections
When changes/updates are made and saved to Excel documents, the Refresh buttons in FloQast must be clicked in order for those changes to be pulled into FQ.
B) Same #FQ reference is present multiple times in the same file/folder
FloQast is designed to read the first version of an anchor reference (#FQ) it encounters in a folder. When the same reference is located multiple times within the same folder but in different files, FloQast will pull the one from the original file based on the creation date. In the event that the same reference is located multiple times within the same file, FloQast will pull the balance of the first sheet with the reference.
NOTE: FloQast will never add the balances of identical references.
C) A hidden column is present between the balance and #FQ reference
FloQast will pull balances in cells directly to the left of anchor references. If there is a hidden column between the reference and the balance, that column must be deleted or the reference should be shifted left into the hidden column.

Possible Causes and Solutions
A) The file is too large
When the file size is too large for FloQast to read, there will be a message denoting this under the file’s name in the Documents section of the Folders tab. In these instances, it is recommended that a lead sheet file is used where final balances are stored and referenced (#FQ).
NOTE: FloQast is able to read up to 20MB per sheet/tab; however, Excel does not display a per-sheet size.
B) File type is unreadable by FloQast
FloQast is able to read .csv, .xls, and .xlsx files. If your file is not one of these and you would like to convert it, open it in Excel and click on File > Save As. Below where the file name is typed, you will be able to select one of these file types from the dropdown menu and save a new version.
C) Anchor reference (#FQ) is missing or incorrect
Anchors in FloQast must follow the format of #FQ-####. The account number referenced must appear exactly as it does within FloQast while excluding the name of the account.
