If you are a NetSuite customer and you have added a new Subsidiary, you will want FloQast to recognize this new subsidiary! You can view a list of all available subsidiaries by hitting the "Subsidiary" drop-down list on any reconciliation in the Manage Reconciliations section.
If you notice a new subsidiary in NetSuite is not an option on this list, there are two ways to perform a sync between FloQast and your NetSuite GL Data:
1. An Admin or System Admin can hit the "Sync General Ledger" button on the Manage Entities page. Pressing this button will ping NetSuite for all of the latest accounts, subsidiaries, exchange rates, etc.
2. An Admin or Manager can run the Completeness Report from the Reconciliations tab. Anytime the Completeness button is clicked, FloQast will sync all new accounts and subsidiaries that have been granted in NetSuite.
If you perform either of the above syncs and FloQast does not recognize your new Subsidiary, you will need to ensure that your "FloQast Integration Role" in NetSuite is granted access to this subsidiary and all other subsidiaries. A NetSuite admin can perform this check and grant access to additional subsidiaries here in NetSuite:
Setup → Users/Roles → Manage Roles → 'Edit' FloQast Integration Role → Subsidiary Restrictions → Either select 'All' or choose 'Selected' and ensure all are highlighted
It is important that the role has access to ALL subsidiaries. We recommend selecting NetSuite's "All Accessible Subsidiaries" option rather than manually highlighting all. This will ensure that access to future subsidiary additions is automatically inherited.
Once the role is updated in NetSuite, you can perform one of the aforementioned Syncs above (Sync GL or Completeness Report). Please note that NetSuite may take 10-15 minutes to update these permissions and transfer them to FloQast.
