You are able to customize the Control and Risk fields that appear in your Risk Control Matrices in FloQast to fit your various compliance needs. To customize these fields, navigate to the Audits tab, and click Manage Custom Fields.
You will be taken to the Global Fields view, where you can manage all of your custom fields for both Risks and Controls (you will see a separate tab for each). To create a brand new field, click Add New Field.
You will then be taken to the Add New Field to Control Matrix page where you can add in your new custom field by selecting one of the following custom field options:
- Text: This is an open text field with no character limit. Simply input a Display Name of the field and users will be able to populate this field with any description. See below for an example of how this field will be displayed.
- True / False: This option has default values as True or False. Simply input a Display Name of the field and users will be able to select True or False. See below for an example of how this field will be displayed.
- Number: This option is an open number field. Simply input a Display Name of the field and users will be able to input a valid number. See below for an example of how this field will be displayed.
- Date: This is an open date field. Simply input a Display Name of the field and users will be able to select a valid date. See below for an example of how this field will be displayed.
- Single-Select: This allows you to set specific options that users can pick from. Simply input your Display Name and the Options users can select from. This will only allow for a single selection at a time. See below for an example of how this field will be displayed.
- Multi-Select: This allows you to set specific options that users can pick from. Simply input your Display Name and the Options users can select from. This will allow for a multiple selections at a time. See below for an example of how this field will be displayed.
You have the option to immediately link the new field to an existing project via the Linked Projects menu. Once you click Add Projects you will be able to select from your existing audit projects.
After you click Link Projects you will be able to manage whether or not the new field is Required and/or Active for said project. You can also remove the field from the linked project.
Once your Custom Fields are added they will appear on the Global Fields view. From there you can also add them to specific Audit Projects to make them available for each of your Risk Control Matrixes.
