Build, customize, and share reports like Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Expenses Trend Analysis, all from one centralized location.

To access Report Builder:
Follow these steps to access the Report Builder module:
- Open the Reporting application.
- Choose Reporting from the menu.
NOTE: Report Builder is available to NetSuite customers with SuiteAnalytics and Workday customers. Other ERP configurations are on the roadmap.
What can I build in Report Builder?
Report Builder comes pre-loaded with a library of standard templates in the FloQast Reports folder, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Variance Analysis, and Trend Analysis views. You can use any template as a starting point, customize it to fit your needs, and save it to your own folders.
Key capabilities include:
- Period Selector — Choose Date Range (P&L reports) or As Of (Balance Sheet snapshots)
- Historic Periods — Add prior months, quarters, or years for period-over-period comparisons
- Filters & Columns — Slice data by account type, entity, department, and more
- Custom Row Sorting — Manually order accounts to match GAAP filings or internal formats
- Reporting Currency — Compare Reporting and Functional Amounts side by side across subsidiaries
- User-Defined Subtotals — Embed custom calculations like Gross Profit or EBITDA directly in your report
- Report Sharing — Share reports with teammates at View Only, Limited, or Full permission levels
- Export — Export to Excel, PDF, or CSV at any time

A: No. Reports are saved and managed within FloQast only. Saving a report preserves its structure and configuration, so it always reflects your most current data when reopened.
