The Rec Reasonableness Check allows users to quickly identify if an account requires extra attention (e.g., the account has changed dramatically from the last time it was reconciled) or if it appears to be business as usual.
In order for the ‘Recs Reasonableness’ to appear, the user only has to hover over the NetSuite/Intacct/ TB Balance on either the Folders or Reconciliations page.
The balance for the Previous Period, the Change in $, and the Change in % will all be displayed:
Note: The Recs Reasonableness will compare month/month balances if the information exists within FloQast.
If you are new to FloQast or on a new ERP, there may not be a "last month" balance for comparison yet, so the tooltip will state ‘No Previous Balance’. The Rec Reasonableness check will populate when there is at least one month of history for a given reconciliation.
