Exporting Review Notes

Export Review Notes allows team members to download their Review Notes on a per company/entity basis. However, review notes as a standalone do not ‘account’ for much, which is why FloQast provides a report that allows users, management, and auditors to see which review notes are associated with their specific procedure, reconciliation, or document.

This feature, like the FloQast Checklist and Reconciliations exports, can be accessed by Admins, Managers, and users alike, and can be found on the Review Notes tab. FloQast continues to enhance our internal/audit support of the close process by providing exports of the details in the application, either for management updates or auditor requests for support. For example, during an audit, evidence of review is required for many actions completed within the application, and our report now offers that function.

The ‘Export’ drops down to give users the option to export the Review Notes report in either Excel or PDF. You can view a single company/entity or can view all entities in FloQast. The view in FloQast will determine what is included on the export. Similarly, setting up filters in FloQast will filter the results within the export.

Note:  The report is NOT all encompassing and is broken down by review notes attached to Checklist Procedures, Reconciliations, and Documents on a per company basis. 

The information will be similar for the Excel and the PDF output, where the Excel export is a little more detailed and the information is displayed a bit differently. Below are screenshots of the PDF and Excel exports, for all entities in the month of May 2026.  The PDF report groups content by their entity, as you can see FloQast Jamaica and then FloQast Taiwan below. Under each entity is listed the information related to the note such as the Category: Checklist or Reconciliation. It also includes the folder, description text, note author, assignees and any replies.

The Excel export displays the Entitiy, Period, Category, Folder, Description and Review Note Indexes in the top portion. The Review Note Indexes then correspond to more information about each note below such as the note text, author, assignee(s), date, replies, and status of the note.
