To create a new Key System, you can click the Create Key System button to get started. If you haven’t created any Key Systems for a project yet, this button will be centered, otherwise you will find it in the top-right corner.
You will then be taken to the Create Key System menu, where the following sections can be filled out:
Compliance Program (Required): Select the Compliance Program you are creating the Key System for
Processes (Optional): Associate your Key System to a specific process from the selected Compliance Program
Name (Required): Designate a name for your Key System
Description (Optional): You can provide more information about your Key System here
Dependent On (Optional): Designate the Controls the Key System is dependent on - these are controls that the Key System and are commonly referred to as IT General Controls or IT Application Controls
Depended On By (Optional): Designate the Controls the Key System is dependent on - these are controls that the Key System controls and are commonly referred to as Automated Controls
Key Reports Generated (Optional): Here you can include any other information you deem relevant.

Managing a Key System
Should you ever wish to Edit or Delete a Key System, you can do so by clicking on said item’s kebab menu in order to pull up either option. If you click Edit then you will be taken to the same Edit Key System menu, which mirrors the Create Key System menu above.
Key System & Key Report Rollforward
Key Systems and Key Reports are now automatically copied and rolled forward when you copy a program, eliminating the need to manually export and import them from the prior year.
