If you have access to the advanced Compliance bundle which includes Tests, then you’ll see the Testing Approach section when creating/editing your Key Reports.
This section can be used to document the Testing Approach of your Key Reports, and consists of the following categories, of which you can select as many as required:
Testing covered by IT Controls: You can select as many controls as relevant from the dropdown menu
Testing covered by business practice controls: You can select as many controls as relevant from the dropdown menu
Individual Test: If your Key Report completeness and accuracy has its own testing procedures, you can select this option and a separate Test will be created in the Tests tab
Other Additional: Other testing approaches/details can be noted in free text here
Testing Approach Rationale: Rationale/reasoning for testing approach can be documented in free text here
Once you have added your Testing Approach to a Key Report, you will see which approaches have been selected from the main Key Reports menu:
Where to Find Individual Tests
If you have selected Individual Test when completing the Testing Approach section, you’ll be able to navigate to the new Key Reports section under the Tests tab in order to add testing procedures and eventually complete your tests:
