How to Link a Checklist Item to a Request
You can link a checklist item to a Request following the steps below.
Note: Only Checklist items with a due date in the future are eligible for the Request Agent integration.
- Click the kebab button in the Actions column of the Checklist Item.
- Hover over the Request Agent Automation option.
- Select Link to an Existing Request or Create a New Request and follow the prompts on-screen.
Please note the Request Agent icon will not appear for past-due Checklist items.
Option 1: Link to an Existing Request
After selecting Link to an Existing Request, your browser will redirect to the Request Agent interface and prompt you to choose the Request the checklist item will be linked to. Here, you can use the following pop-up modules to choose the send date of the Request and its follow-up, as well as make edits to all other settings as needed.
Please note that the start date cannot be older than the checklist item’s due date.
Option 2: Create a New Request
After selecting this option, your browser will redirect you to the template options in the Request Agent interface. After selecting your desired template, you will be able to choose the send date of the request and its follow-up, as well as make edits to all other settings as needed. The request will automatically be assigned to the entity the Checklist item is in.
Please note that the start date cannot be older than the checklist item’s due date.
Managing the Linked Checklist Item
You can confirm your link is successful by the smaller green Request Agent icon on the left side of the checklist item. Successfully linked checklist items will also preview a Response Rate when you click the icon.
You can also confirm your link is successful when a “View Checklist Item in FloQast” link appears on the details view of the Request.
Once responses are received, you can export them by clicking on the Request Agent icon and clicking on Export.
Removing a Linked Checklist Item
Admins and Managers in FloQast can remove a checklist item from a request. First, locate the linked item from under the Checklist tab. You'll need to be in a period with a due date that has not yet passed. Select the Settings icon for that item:
Scroll down until you see the Request Agent symbol and the name of your request, then select "Remove." Note that the request will be paused once you hit "Continue," and then save your checklist item.
You'll still be able to locate and restart your now inactive request on the Request Agent dashboard should you need to use it again:
