How to Link a Checklist Item to a ReMind Request
FloQast will automatically recommend linking a Checklist Item to a ReMind Request if the item fits a ReMind use case. If one of your Checklist Items is identified as matching a ReMind Use case, you will see a button asking you to Automate with ReMind. Clicking this button will allow you to link this item to an existing Request or create a new Request. A guide of what to expect and best practices for each path can be found below.
Of course, you are welcome to link any of your Checklist Items to ReMind requests. If your Checklist Item is not automatically identified by FloQast, you can link it to a Request following the steps below.
- Hover over the checklist item you’d like to link.
- Click on the ReMind icon on the right-hand side.
- Select Link to an Existing Request or Create a New Request and follow the prompts on-screen.
Please note the ReMind icon will not appear for past-due Checklist items.
Option 1: Link to an Existing Request
After selecting Link to an Existing Request, your browser will redirect to the ReMind interface and prompt you to choose the Request the checklist item will be linked to. Here, you can use the following pop-up modules to choose the send date of the Request and its follow-up, as well as make edits to all other settings as needed.
Please note that the start date cannot be older than the checklist item’s due date.
Option 2: Create a New Request
After selecting this option, your browser will redirect you to the template options in the ReMind interface. After selecting your desired template, you will be able to choose the send date of the request and its follow-up, as well as make edits to all other settings as needed. The request will automatically be assigned to the entity the Checklist item is in.
Please note that the start date cannot be older than the checklist item’s due date.
Managing the Linked Checklist Item
You can confirm your link is successful by the smaller green ReMind icon on the left side of the checklist item. Successfully linked checklist items will also preview a Response Rate when you click the icon.
You can also confirm your link is successful when a “View Checklist Item in FloQast” link appears on the details view of the Request.
Once responses are received, you can export them by clicking on the ReMind icon and clicking on Export.
Removing a Linked Checklist Item
Admins and Managers in FloQast can remove a checklist item from a ReMind request. First, locate the linked item from under the Checklist tab. You'll need to be in a period with a due date that has not yet passed. Select the settings icon for that item:
Scroll down until you see the ReMind symbol and the name of your request, then select "Remove." Note that the request will be paused in ReMind once you hit "Continue," and then save your checklist item.
You'll still be able to locate and restart your now inactive request on your ReMind dashboard should you need to use it again:
