How to Export:
Once your contacts begin responding to your ReMind Request, you can export the results to see the data/files/task completion that they have provided.
You do not need to wait for 100% of your recipients to respond! You may export the results as soon as one or more has replied with their data. You can export from two different locations:
1) You can hover over the Request in the Dashboard and then click “Export Results.”
or
2) You can click “Export All” from the “View Details” page.
Contents of the Export:
Exporting the results of a ReMind Request will produce a .zip file.
Contained in the .zip file will be:
1) A folder for each respondent containing their unique response (i.e., the email from which they responded) in PDF files, including any file attachments they provided.
2) An Excel summary file that lists any email exchanges that took place during the Request. This can be used to view the status of the request sent to each recipient (pending response, responded, etc.) and as a quick index or table of contents for what you will find in each of the subfolders. This may prove helpful if a respondent included pertinent information in the body of an email that supplements their attached data.
Consolidated Excel File:
If the requester attached an Excel template, the export will also include a consolidated Excel sheet, which contains the combined results from all recipients. This sheet will maintain the original formatting and styling that was uploaded during the Request creation process.
Please note that a response may not be consolidated in the Excel file with the other responses if the format of the attachment has been adjusted and no longer matches the format of the file initially sent with the Request. For instance, if a respondent deviates from the template they are provided and adds a column to the file they submit to ReMind, that response will not be consolidated with the others. However, it will still be documented in the summary Excel file and exported folders.
An example of the consolidated Excel file is shown below. Multiple lines of data from a single Respondent will be grouped together, and all Respondents will have a blank line between them to separate the data.
If a Respondent had no data to submit, they should have replied via email with "None" or "N/A" in the body of their message. These responses will be displayed on the export with a note that the "User responded with no data."
