Connect to Egnyte:
FloQast is built on top of Egnyte to ensure Enterprise level security for your documents. When you first sign up for FloQast you will be prompted to authenticate your Egnyte admin credentials.
Once this is completed, the owner of the Egnyte account will need to invite the rest of the team to the shared FloQast folder. You will not be able to use the reconciliation functionality without this being done:
If you would like to restrict folder access on an entity level, please click into the FloQast folder and invite collaborators at the 'FQ-company name' level.
Working with Engyte Drive:
Downloading Engyte Drive will allow you to work in a shared space on your current network and sync files back to the Engyte cloud. You can download Drive by going to Apps & Add-Ons > Egnyte Apps > Egnyte Drive. After you download your Engyte Drive you will be prompted to login to Engyte via your desktop. Once this is complete you will see all of your Engyte folders and files in your new desktop drive.
Working with Egnyte Desktop Sync:
Engyte Desktop sync will allow you to work on copies of files on your local machine and sync them back to the cloud. Once shared, a “FloQast” folder will appear in your folder tree and will be used as the parent folder for your engagement. Don’t forget to sync this folder to make everything appear in your Egnyte Desktop Sync (first you will have to download Egnyte Desktop Sync):
Once you have downloaded Egnyte Desktop Sync, please sync the “FloQast" folder to your desktop:
Work on Your Desktop & Sync to FloQast:
The folder structure in FloQast will mirror the folders in Egnyte Desktop Sync. Each new close period, this will be replicated and automatically created in Egnyte. By centralizing the different pieces of your close, FloQast will help you save your supporting documentation the same way each month and guarantee it always ties to your General Ledger.
