Folders can be added or deleted in the company hierarchy by right-clicking on the folder structure when you navigate to the Close the Books section of FloQast.
Right clicking on the Monthly folder (when navigated to Close the Books) will give the option to add a process folder for that selected period and the new folder will automatically be created in your cloud storage account. If the new folder needs to be replicated in future periods, make sure the new folder is added to both the current close month and the calendar month.
By right clicking on a specific process folder, you are given the option to delete that folder for the specific period. Keep in mind you must be within a different folder than the one you want to delete. The below action would delete the 02 AR folder rather than 01 Cash.
Note: Deleting the folder in FloQast will NOT delete the folder in your storage provider. If the folder needs to be deleted from cloud storage, make sure and navigate to the cloud storage and delete the folders.
Note: It is possible to rename folders in FQ, but it is not currently available inside the application. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to rename folders.
