Users now have the ability to edit control descriptions directly in FloQast to ensure consistency between the control descriptions from the RCM in FloQast and process narratives with the two-way sync feature.
Once the feature has been enabled, the anchor to apply to your process narratives is #FQ-Control ID {Control Description}.
In addition to the completeness check, FloQast now compares the description of the control in FloQast with that of the process narrative. When the descriptions do not match, FloQast will prompt you to “Resolve Conflict.”
Admins and Managers have the option to select the description that is in FloQast or the one that is in the narrative. Once you select one or the other, FloQast will update all descriptions to match.
Additionally, you can select “Edit” and manually update the control description to be applied to the control description in FloQast and in the process narrative.
Lastly, you have the option to create a control directly within FloQast when it is noted that a control exists in a process narrative but not in your RCM. Selecting “Create Control” will navigate to the Create a New Control window.
