To Edit, Add a Control to another Audit Project, or Remove a Control select the three dots on the right side of a Control.
When you select ‘Edit’ all of the fields for the Control can be changed except the Audit Project and Control ID. To change the control ID, you will need to delete the control and then re-upload using the RCM template. This will deactivate the control and push it to the Controls Library view.
If you want to move your Control to another Audit Project you can select ‘Add to Another Project’ after clicking the three dots to the right of the Control. From the dropdown, you can select any Audit Project that the control is not already included in. The second dropdown is to assign a Process to the Control in the Audit Project.
To Remove a Control, select the ‘Remove’ option from the three dots. You will be asked if you would like to remove the Control from This project only, This Project and the Controls Library, or a Specific Project, and/or the Controls Library with a dropdown to select from.
Removing the Control from ‘This Project Only’ will remove the control from the specific audit project, but allow the Control to still show up under your Control Library if it is associated with another Audit Project.
Removing the Control from ‘This Project and the Control Library’ will remove the control from the specific audit project, deactivate the control and the control will appear as such the Control Library. You can Filter for all Deactivated Controls in the controls library.
